BIRTH PLACE : CALI, COLOMBIA, SOUTH AMERICA
CIVIL STATE : MARRIED, TWO CHILDREN.

STUDIES:

In 1959 he graduates from scientific high school in the Instituto Scientifico San Gabriele of Rome, Italy.

In the autumn of 1959 he enters the Massachusetts Institute of Technologies ( M.I.T.) in Boston, USA were he begins studies for Mechanical Engineer, until summer 1961.

Late in 1961 he transfers to Mc Gill University in Montreal, Canada, were he continues studies for Aeronautical Engineering until graduating in 1964, with a specialization in “monococ and semi-monococ structures”.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

In 1965 he returns to Colombia were he assumes the Administrative Direction of Tedesco y Cia. Ltda (family company).

In 1961 he founds the aircraft company AGROCOPTEROS LTDA. and begins the design and production of autogyros for air spraying.

During his stay at AGROCOPETROS LTDA. he exerted as Chief Engineer of Projects and Technical Director, besides being the President of the company until 1998, year of the dissolution of AGROCOPTEROS LTDA.

During this period he developed and executed the projects of 10 (ten) types of airships: Autogiro, Scamp Biplane, Canard Gold-wing, Zenith 4 seats, Zenith Aerobatic, MXP-740 Savannah, MXP-640 Amigo, MXP-650 Amigo S, MXP-750 Air-spraying and MXP-100 Aventura.

In 1998 he founds, together with his son Filippo, TECNOLOGÍAS AERONAUTICAS S.A. were he was once again Technical Director and Chief of Projects.

Between 1978 and 1981 he exerted as External Technical Advisor for the Colombian Civil Aeronautics concerning Flight Safety and Engineering Matters.

Promoter and Technical Advisor for the first edition of the Colombian Civil Aeronautics Regulation for the Operation and Maintenance of Light and Ultra-light Vehicles which was unveiled in Feb. 1986 and it's later modification in 1988.

In 2001 he realizes the project “Light Airplane MXP-800 FANTASY” for the European market, an all metal two place high wing airplane that incorporates the technical characteristics of weight and performance contained in the new Common European Air Regulations for Light Aircraft.

At the present time, he is adviser for all aeronautical matters in the new AEROANDINAS S.A., company that has retaken all of the strengths of the previous two companies and where he is also Honorary President.

Here he is designing and developing the all new high performance airplane “MXP-1000 TAYRONA”, for the North American and European markets and complying with the new international LSA Rule, recently unveiled in Sep. 1, 2004 by the FAA.

The TAYRONA will be available by January 2005
